3 Things to Consider if you are Hesitant About Filing a Personal Injury Lawsuit

by Laura Booberg on April 24, 2013

We often meet with clients who are reluctant to sue.  If you feel this way, there are a number of things to consider.  woman_under_stress.jpg

1. The majority of claims are resolved before it is necessary to file a lawsuit.  We work to obtain settlements for our clients when appropriate to avoid unnecessarily going to Court.

2. If the person at fault had insurance, his insurance will hire an attorney for him and will pay the amount of a verdict or settlement up to the amount of his insurance coverage.  This means that you do not have to be concerned that you are seeking compensation from someone who may or may not be able to pay.

3. Finally, you have to consider whether it is fair for you to have to bear the pain and financial impact of a crash that was the fault of another person.  When you have suffered significant losses, it is only fair that the person who is responsible for those losses should be responsible for compensating you,

There is no reason to be reluctant to recover what you have lost when you were not at fault.  Give us a call so that we can discuss your case and help you receive what you deserve.
