This Washington Post article points out something I have learned over the course of my career, nurses work incredibly hard and frequently are injured while carrying out their work.  I have represented many nurses in claims before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.  The most frequent injuiries are back injuries from nurses lifting and moving patients and preventing patients from falling.  Nurses rarely get the credit ther deserve for all that they do and the risks that they take while doing their jobs.
